My UK company has the opportunity of a contract to provide specialist
consuting services to a non EU company. They have sold a range of
products and services to an EU company. The EU company has many offices
around the globe. Delivering the services (including training) will
involve extensive travel on my part. Can anyone help me as to what
documentation and/or visas I might have to get? It seems unrealistic to
acquire a working visa for each country.
You will need your UK passport. Visa requirements vary from country to
country
outside the EU. I traveled around the world training software sales people
(on a USA passport), and some
countries had no visa requirement, while others, like Australia, had
substantial lead time requirements for
their mandatory visas. Most countries have this info available on their
official websites. Do some
research, and allow more time that they tell you to obtain visas -
especially if you have apply through an
embassy or consulate a long way from where you are.
Happy traveling.
