Bernard Golden is Chief Executive Officer of Navica, a Silicon Valley
consulting firm
offering open source strategy, implementation, and training services.
Bernard is a recognized authority on open source software and is a frequent
speaker and
writer on the topic. He is the author of "Succeeding with Open Source"
(Addison-Wesley
Press, 2005) and the forthcoming "Open Source Best Practices". He writes a
regular
column on open source for CIO Magazine, and his work has been featured in
SearchCIO.com, Enterprise Open Source Journal, LinuxWorld, IT Manager's
Journal,
InfoWorld, and eWeek. He has spoken on the topic of open source to many
organizations
